The Resort
Samos is a truly stunning island and we wanted to create a resort here that complemented the island's natural beauty. To this end we employed one of the most respected architects in the whole of Greece, Yiannis Vikelas, to design the Halcyon Hills experience.

Luxury and Privacy
Once the concept was achieved architecturally, the interior design then needed to be addressed. Once again, the overriding principle was that the resort must feel as if it fits like a glove in Greece and that it is not just another luxury hotel that could be anywhere else in the world. The Halcyon Hills experience is centered around Greek style whilst ensuring that our owners benefit from five star service and quality.

To achieve this dream outlined above, we carefully selected our associates who are working with us on the various aspects of Halcyon Hills Luxury Resort and Spa.

The village of Klima rests next to Halcyon Hills and has two delightful tavernas gracing its shoreline. the small, boutique tourist resort of Psilli Amos is two bays to the West, while the historically rich harbour of Pythagoria (Named after Pythagoras who was born there) lies 3 miles to the West. The islands capital is a 15 minute drive away from the resort and the international airport is just a short 20 minute drive. This modest yet adequate distance ensures that the relaxing ambience of the resort is not affected by aircraft noise.

Samos is a geographically diverse island. Despite being just 42km long and approximately 12km wide, it is home to two mountains on it's western side; one of these is as high as Ben Nevis. Samos was also home to the largest temple of the ancient world, the temple of Hera and visitors today can visit the ruins of this temple as well as the superbly stocked museums which exhibit the island's rich cultural heritage.

Samos is also home to one of the original Wonders of the World, the Eupalinos Tunnel, and has had it's share of historical celebrity couples. Antony and Cleopatra stayed in Pythagoria on their honeymoon whilst Paris and Helen supposedly stayed on the island on their return journey to Troy.

The Spa
Halcyon Hills is as much about the experience as it is the investment opportunity. The spa at Halcyon Hills represents a sensual journey, from the thermal rooms to specialist treatments such as the Rasul, you’ll find the spa is an ideal sanctuary from a hectic modern life.

Seven treatment rooms invite guests to enjoy relaxing and reviving therapies such as the Four Hands Massage and Rasul. The couples room allows visitors to enjoy their treatments in the company of loved ones. Treatments mingle with the magnificent ‘Experience Showers’, offering multi sensory experiences by selecting tropical rain with the delicate scents of mango and papaya or alternatively ice needle jets or gentler cool mists can be chosen.

Finishing the spa experience is the 250m2 pool. Designed for use all year round, the indoor pool opens into a large outdoor infinity pool complete with built in ergonomically designed seating areas. The infinity pool will be one of the finest locations in the whole resort to enjoy the panoramic view, especially as the sun sets over the bay.

The Treatments - Rejuvenate and restore mind and body with our salt exfoliation and nourishing wrap which incorporates the natural minerals, algae and salt properties of the sea or indulge in the unique Four Hands massage, which will be just two of our signature treatments from a sublime collection of experiences offered at The Spa. Our therapists can help you choose your treatments to ensure that you emerge feeling fully relaxed and restored.

Couples & Rasul - For couples, we have the Serail Mud Chamber, which is a nourishing, detoxifying and cleansing ritual in your own private chamber. Gently massage the medicinal muds and chalks, whilst relaxing and inhaling the herbal infused steam, before cooling with a tepid shower to leave skin soft, smooth and cleansed.

Pools - Relax, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, spectacular views and listen to the gentle waterfall from the infinity pool, or rejuvenate with water massage jets in the hydrotherapy pool.

Thermal Suite - Take a sensory journey through our labyrinth of heat cabins. Guests may wish to start with the gentle warmth of the marbled tepidarium, the dry heat of the Laconium before taking time in the camomile steam room or lavender infused Caldarium. Refresh the senses in our cooling mist experience showers infused with mint or with crushed ice from the fountain.
